Carol. Is. The, Best!!! I am sooooo glad I went with her and her team! From the very beginning she went over and beyond to provide excellent service. She knows her stuff! She made me feel at ease not only during the planning process but they day of because I knew Carol was on my side and could handle the job; she asked the right questions to get things organized, she kept in contact with EVERYONE in the wedding party to make sure we all knew what our “jobs” were, she planned the wedding day perfectly from minute to minute and made my wedding go off without a hitch, she made it look easy! She was extremely sweet, very professional and since I got married I have had numerous people ask me for her contact because they even saw how sweet, organized and what a fantastic job she did, with a smile the entire time. She did my dessert bar...she made a donut wall for me and had delicious lemon bars, brownies and cookies that everyone told me they couldn’t stop eating because they were so tasty. Carol was the best coordinator we could have asked for! She handled everything with grace and such professionalism, our wedding day was perfect because of her! Jesus and I just wanted to say thank you one more time for all of your help with our wedding – it was absolutely perfect. We (and all of our guests) had a fabulous time. I hadn’t initially planned on hiring a wedding planner but my venue required a day-of-coordinator. I’m so thankful that I found her though. She walked me through every step and helped me create the mood and feel of my day. She is very thorough and organized. We had a wedding for 17 people (including us) with our primary entertainment being our caterer’s kitchen IN the ballroom. This was a very different wedding in lots of ways and Carol showcased her ability to adapt from what is usually considered a typical event. Her ideas and solutions were fun and practical. When I was first planning my wedding, the number one thing for me was to not stress on the day of the wedding. Girls, you spend thousands of dollars on your wedding, you should enjoy it! So I looked into finding a wedding planner to help make my day smooth and I found Carol. Carol was sweet, friendly, and very professional. Even though we hired her as a day/month of planner, she met with us a few times before that to go over the wedding plans or to walk the venue to ensure she gathered all the details required for the day. She was always available for questions and had very prompt responses (VERY important to brides!). On the day of the wedding, I packed all my decorations and she picked it up and when I was taking photos with the photographer, I snuck over to see how it turned out and it looked amazing! We also had a difficult vendor but because Carol had a working relationship with them, we never had to deal with the bad vendor. She handled all communication and made sure we didn’t have to stress about it. If you want to ensure you have fun at your wedding because you want it to go smoothly, hire Carol! She’s your girl!

Carol and her team were a pleasure to work with! They really helped the month before the wedding run VERY SMOOTHLY and even before that were always available for questions. I did choose to have her not only as a month of coordinator but also the person to set up all of my DIY wedding details and decor and wow did they deliver!!! The day was very magical and the set up was actually better than I ever planned. The month before the wedding you basically hand all the planning over to Carol and she is on top of all the vendors coordinating when they are to come and set up which really puts you at ease that everything will go just as planned. As someone who was an event planner and continues to work with event planners, I have very high standards, a commitment to quality and a penchant for details. Carol exceeded all of my expectations and has terrific aesthetics which only enhanced my own vision. Her responsiveness, attention to detail, ability to make decisions quickly on the fly were fantastic. She was unfailingly upbeat and positive, even when we made some last minute logistical changes (day of the wedding!). Frankly, I wasn’t going to hire a wedding coordinator, but my venue required a day-of coordinator. (After doing events for 30 years, I planned to do it myself or hire my assistant at work to do it for me.) Carol was way more than a day-of coordinator. She was a tremendous value. I interviewed several coordinators and her price was less, her skill and professionalism were better and the services she provided were far more encompassing. In retrospect, I would have been a total fool to have assumed the planning on the day-of...it would have ruined my day. In addition to not enjoying my wedding, I would have been angry at myself for spending so much on my wedding only to not have been able to enjoy it. Carol and her team are worth every penny...and then some. Save yourself the time and hassle of interviewing others and just call Carol. You won’t regret it.

During the wedding planning, Carol was very attentive to our needs and requests: talented and creative too!—the desert bar was awesome...as soon as we took down the desert bar’s “do not touch until after wedding” sign, her dessert bar was gobbled up by the guests within a few minutes...and there was a “lot” of goodies on that table—blue bubble gum poppers, éclairs, brownies, yum, yum, yum =) Carol also decorated the restaurant floorplan for the wedding, and made the restaurant layout look awesome! The guest tables were also laid out beautifully with flower center pieces. Carol did an excellent job overall, highly recommended.

I was referred to The Blushing Details/Carol by a friend of mine who was using her services to plan their wedding. I didn’t think we needed a “day of” coordinator, since I wanted a simple wedding, and I was pretty hands on and organized. Our guest list started to grow, and the groom gave me the green light to get a coordinator. We met with Carol 3 times before the wedding (initial, final, wedding rehearsal). The weeks leading to the wedding, Carol contacted and coordinated communication with all of our vendors (delivery times, arrival times, parking). The day of the wedding, we didn’t have to lift a finger! Carol and her 2 assistants took care of all deliveries, got décor from the groom’s car (and put it back in the car after the wedding!), set up décor/menu cards/escort cards/cookie bar/cake tower/etc, and put all remaining items into our honeymoon suite. The groom, wedding party, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! They kept us on a timeline, and the day ran so smoothly! The whole day was STRESS FREE – we just enjoyed our special day! They took care of everything! At the end of the night, the groom expressed how he was so grateful we had Carol as our coordinator!
